Want to generate more traffic for your Facebook page?  You know get people talking about your business to in turn get you more business.  Here are 5 Simple Steps to Facebook Page Success.

Step 1:  Post 2 interesting topics related to your business.

I want to add that if you add pictures it is so much better.  Social Media is a very visual media.  Pictures and words together are very powerful and will create more engagement.  Find a couple of pictures (give credit where credit is due).

Step 2:  Update your company page status daily

Yes Daily!  You are relevant on a daily basis.  Don’t worry if one posts doesn’t get any likes or comments but keep posting something daily.  You will eventually gain the reputation as an expert in your field because of your daily posts.

Step 3:  Ask for people to comment, like, or share your posts.

Ask and you will receive!  If you don’t ask, you don’t get.  Ask for the like especially if it is something fun or important.

Step 4:  Find and “Like” 5 new pages daily

Network with other pages of similar interests or geographical locations.  Make comments and respond to pages with your page feed.  It is a great way to show interest in other people’s businesses but a free nod for your company.

Step 5:  Tag People in your posts

Tag people!  If you are friends then tag.  This can be tricky but if you know how to tag people this is a great way to boost your page.

Snapchat Safety

Yesterday was Internet Safety Day.  I know that Internet safety is a top priority in my line of business.  When reading through my daily Social Media news, I noticed a disturbing article.  A young man killed another young man then took a selfie with the body on Snapchat.   Thankfully, someone did a screen shot and the young man can now be punished for his crime.  This is a plus and minus for Social Media.  The plus, it can catch a criminal, the minus is that several people were exposed the horror.

The day before Internet Safety Day, I was scolding three teenagers in my car in regards to using Snapchat responsibly.   They were arguing about taking a “bad” picture down that one had taken of the other.  I made them delete the “bad “ picture.  Keep in mind, the “bad” picture was a goofy smile – nothing really serious.  However, I did take it serious because you should have respect for your friends and if they do not want “bad” pictures them available for teenage ridicule online – then you respect your friend and take the picture down.    I made each teenager post “I will use Snapchat responsibly #repost” in addition to removing the pictures.

The next day, Internet Safety Day – the teenagers had thought they started something because Snapchat had a Internet Safety graphic.  Well, I let them believe it was a trend and they were apart of the new trend on Snapchat.  In reality, I hope they have learned respect for one another and respect for the Internet.

Beginning of a Christmas Gala

I have the great privilege to host a table at our Christmas Gala at church.  This event is a women’s gathering and amazing time of fellowship.  This post is going to highlight the creation process of the table.  Myself and two of my friends will host the table.  A total of 8 people will sit at our table and we will create the atmosphere.  An atmosphere of hospitality, beauty and welcoming God’s presence is what we are trying to achieve.

Communication

I don’t care how well I communicate but somedays the story below is how it feels. Enjoy!

Milk and eggs

This is a story which is perfectly logical to all   males:

A wife asks her husband,

“Could you please go shopping for me and buy   one carton of milk,

And if they have avocados, get 6.”

A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk.

The wife asks him, “Why did you buy 6 cartons   of milk?”

He replied, “They had avocados.”

(If   you’re female, I’m sure you’re going back to read it again! Males will get it   the first time.)

Pinterest Just Got Even Better!

Pinterest has a new feature and now your amazing pins can be shared with other Social Media sites like Facebook and Twitter.    Just click on Repin and get ready to expand your pin.
